Natural Forest Management (NFM)

Repeatedly logged over and badly degraded forest in our forest management unit (FMU) are placed under NFM - enrichment planting and silviculture.

Achievement to date - about 10,000 acres of forest land is kept for rehabilitation which include enrichment planting and silviculture.

As part of our social contract - local natives are engaged as workers and local contractors. To date we have more than 100 of the natives mainly Ansuan and Pinangah working with us.

Sustainable Rotational Harvesting - preliminary work is completed. It is now pending implementation.
