Kelvin is the Chairman and Co-Founder of TSH, a boutique plantation group operating in Malaysia and Indonesia. Since the Company’s founding, he has played a key role in shaping its strategy, governance and growth.
Kelvin has been a Director of TSH since 17 January 1986 and was re-designated as Chairman on 1 September 2024. He also sits on the board of some of the subsidiaries of the TSH Group. He was appointed as the Managing Director of Innoprise Plantations Berhad on 1 January 2026, having previously served as the Managing Director from 2006 to 2019.
He began his entrepreneurial journey in cocoa trading in 1977, later expanding into Sabah and adopting an integrated approach that combined upstream and downstream activities. He subsequently, applied the same principles to the oil palm industry, contributing to the development of plantations, mills, biomass cogeneration, and downstream refining partnerships in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Over the years, he has been involved in growing TSH into a regional integrated plantation group and has overseen its listings on Bursa Malaysia and the Singapore Exchange. He remains committed to sustainability and conservation, having supported biodiversity initiatives in Sabah and served in various educational and conservation-related roles.
